When wordpress creates an excerpt it ends with …. which I would expect to lead to the full page. However, there is no link to the page and only the title is a link. How can I put a link at the end of the excerpt? Can I change the …. to “Read More” or something similar?

For my category pages I can only choose to have the full page or the excerpt. If I use full pages it is so long that the Category page becomes worthless. However, when I switch to excerpts I have the navigation problem.

It was really difficult to figure everything out and there are not many TwentyTwenty tutorial resources available. Once I learned to do things it seems to be way more flexible than I need.
I’m still trying to figure out a few things that I just can’t seem to make sense of. I think I need to find a consultant to help me a bit.

Hi Julie, I haven’t looked into it so far but I assume that there is some JavaScript at play that is responsible for the contrast check. You might have to disable it in order to fully customize colors in Twenty Twenty. Glad you found something else that works for you, though! Thanks for your comment!

I didn’t have time to purse it thoroughly and went with the related Chaplin theme instead. It’s been really nice to take advantage of all the new block editor features in a clean, lightweight theme.
