Hi Ray, I would say it depends on your theme and whether the JS files even come from there. Each website is unique and you need to examine what is adding the unused JavaScript to it in order to take the right steps to remove it. Cheers!

WP is not an easy CMS to do custom code for every page. It’s just a big pile of garbage if it is used by a regular user and installs dozens and hundreds of “convenient” modules. Yes, a WordPress can be fast and convenient, but a good programmer will do it, but never a simple user.
