I’m usually pretty happy with your reviews, but today I feel this shortcode plugin review wasn’t helpful at all. The article seemed like a quick search of the most downloaded shortcode plugins, reading their descriptions, grabbing the header images, and pushing out a blog post at the last minute.

I feel this way because I have no clue as to what these shortcode plugins actually do. Sure, they provide more shortcodes, probably useful ones even. However, what specific shortcodes and benefits are being provided these plugins isn’t given in your article.

Most of your posts are informative in some way. Today, I feel it’s a fluff piece and a disappointing one at that. Please try to be more descriptive of what plugins do, how they differ, and which might be better or not for certain use cases in the future.
